Its making involves the boiling together of over 200 herbs found in the
deep forest of the Sri Lanka. It was 200 years ago when Pranajeewa miracle oil first came into being and today nothing has changed.  It has only got better with modern technology.  These rare herbs are now being cultivated to be used for the future the making of Pranajeewa.

Sethsuwa was then called Veda Madura.  In July 2005 with the demise of Ven. Dr. Gnanaloka his only understudy the man who did all the work of the making of Pranajeewa came into focus Dr. Sujeewa became solely in charge.  He was the only one who knows true making of the ancient recipe.
